Our first trip into Sick Rick's production lab resulted in 6 useable tracks (and a couple passable in reserve) to be blended into our first studio version of a traditional tune we've jammed on more than any other over the past 4 decades. Ha, or maybe 3 and a half. My albeit limited memory in particular of 1982-83 doesn't recall introducing "House" yet into our repertoire.
Tracks: Mehigh - 1 sticks; J.A.S. - 1 wires, 2 voice, 1 silicon; Matrox - 1 heavy wires. Sick Rick due to lay down some lead wires.
The main lesson passed to me is "Don't let perfection be the enemy of the good." While the performing musician may obsess over his or her 2-3 minor mistakes, it is most likely no one else will even notice.
